Lt. Zachary M. Brook, a native of Spokane, Wash., enlisted in the Navy in 2005 as an Aviation Machinist Mate and earned his commission as a limited duty officer in 2018. 
 
His sea tours include deploying aboard USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75); MCO, detachment maintenance officer, and maintenance materials control officer for Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 7 aboard USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69); maintenance materials control officer and aviation maintenance officer at Electronic Attack Squadron 137 aboard USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 72) and USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71).
 
His shore tours include serving at Helicopter Squadron 7; H-60 power plant systems instructor at Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit; Helicopter Maritime Strike 46 detachment 2, deploying three times to U.S. 6th Fleet and U.S. 7th fleet.
