AMCS Henry is a native of St. Mary, Jamaica and enlisted in the United States Navy in August 2001. After completing Recruit Training at Great Lakes, Illinois, he attended Aviation Structural Mechanic "A" School at Naval Air Technical Training Center (NATTC) Pensacola, Florida.
His previous sea and shore tours include the Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX) 1, Sea Control Squadron (VS) 31, Sea Control Squadron (VS) 22, Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) Detachment Jacksonville, Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 70, Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit (CNATTU) Jacksonville, and Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 72.
In July 2023, AMCS Henry reported to Fleet Readiness Center Southeast, Detachment Mayport, Florida where he currently serves as the Senior Enlisted Leader (SEL).
AMCS Henry’s military awards and decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (two awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (nine awards), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, and numerous other unit, campaign, and service awards. Additionally, he is designated as an Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist (EAWS), CNATTU Instructor Evaluator, and Master Training Specialist (MTS).
